Karaganda Pharmaceutical Plant

      In 2005, on a personal assignment from President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev, the first stage of a production complex of original competitive phytodrugs including the ampoule and freeze drying shop, as well as a quality control laboratory was constructed and put into operation. In November, 2008, the second stage of pharmaceutical complex, which incorporates the extraction and synthesis shop of medicinal substances, was built and put into service.

      Production devisions of Karaganda Pharmaceutical Plant comply with the GMP standards and are equipped with the modern pharmaceutical devices of the following companies: Nitec Instrument, Genser, AlphaCrom (Germany), Millipore (France), Natex (Austria), etc.

      Raw material base: 1500 ha for cultivation of medicinal raw materials in the pilot farm "Bereznyaki" of Bukhar-Zhyrau district of Karaganda region.
      Production capacity: 2 million ampoules, 120 million tablets, capsules and 2 million soft dosage forms of original competitive plant medicines per year.
      The manufactured products include 72 items of original phytodrugs, among which are the following medicines: an antitumor drug Arglabin, a hepatoprotector Salsocollin, an antiparasitic agent Sausalin, a hypolipidemic drug Aterolid, and adaptogenic agent Ecdyphyt.
      For the period from 1995 to 2016, a full production cycle was developed from the production of medicinal raw material including its processing to the release of finished dosage forms of original plant medicines.
