KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - The volume of the pharmaceutical industry has almost quadrupled in the Karaganda region.
The share of the pharmaceutical industry in the manufacturing industry of the region is 1%. Today this industry is very important and promising for the region, and at the same time it is developing steadily. For 8 months the production volume amounted to 12 billion tenge - with an increase of 3.8 times over the same period last year. There are 6 pharmaceutical enterprises in the region. Three of them account for 90% of production. These are the Karaganda pharmaceutical complex, Pharmacy 2010 LLP, Karaganda Pharmaceutical Plant.
